Did you ever wonder why astrologers are able to analyze an area of concern in your life, like your career, even if your sun sign doesn't focus much on it? They are able to do it by looking at each of the houses of the zodiac, each one being an authority on the areas of life we all have to deal with, from work to friendships to sex.

Astrologers divide the sky into twelve different houses. When a planet "occupies" a house, the concerns ruled by that house increase in importance.

9th House: Education, travel, religion, philosophy.

10th House: Your career, social status, relationship with the other parent.

11th House: Relationships with friends, dreams and apsirations.

12th House: Isolation and escapism.
